The Culture Collective

This collection showcases a variety of Afro-Centric fabrics incorporated into the design of the various hand bags. These fabrics will show the versatility of how they can be used as a design statement.  Mud Cloth originates from northern Africa, specifically the inland country of Mali in the Western Sahara region. The fabric is handwoven cotton strips, which are hand stitched together to form a larger cloth, and then hand painted with naturals dyes.
